General Elections for the City of Euharlee are held the first Tuesday after the
first Monday in November in odd numbered years. The next election will be held
on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. If necessary, a run-off will be held, Tuesday,
December 1, 2009./p>
According to the Georgia Election Code Section 21-2-380, advance voting will
begin Monday, October 26, 2009, and will end on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at
Euharlee City Hall, 30 Burges Mill Road, Euharlee, Georgia 30145. Voting will be
allowed from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
In 2009, the following seats are up for election:
- Mayor
- Council Member
- Council Member
Qualifying dates are as follows:
Daily Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., August 31, 2009 through
Thursday, September 3, 2009, at the City Clerk’s Office.
Qualifying Fees:
- Mayor $66.00
- Council Member $45.00
Absentee Voting:
Anyone interested in voting by Absentee Ballot should contact Euharlee City
Hall.
In 2011 two council member seats are up election.
