EUHARLEE MUNICIPAL COURT MISSION STATEMENT:
The Municipal Court's mission is to adjudicate cases fairly and to make every effort to provide the best customer service when dealing with elected officials, judges, attorneys and the general
public.
The Municipal Court is a misdemeanor court that has jurisdiction over city ordinance violations and state traffic offenses. Specific type cases handled by the court include routine traffic offenses; driving under the influence
of alcohol; possession of marijuana less than an ounce; firearms violations; nuisance and abatement cases; and city ordinance violations.

Court is held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM.
Municipal Court office hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 – 5:00.

You may pay your fine at City of Euharlee Municipal Court Clerk’s Office and not appear in court to contest the citation. This will be considered a guilty plea. The fine must be paid at least two
hours prior to the time and date listed on the citation. Once you pay the fine, you do not have to appear in court. Your driving history will reflect a conviction for the offense(s) with which you
were charged. The officer is not allowed to quote a fine amount.
You must call Euharlee Municipal Court (770) 386 – 1542 ext 205 for your fine amount. Some charges must appear and can not be paid prior to your court appearance. Please allow three
business days before calling for a fine amount.
You may mail your fine to Euharlee Municipal Court, but please mail seven days prior to your court date, to ensure it is received on time. The mailing address is: Euharlee Municipal Court, 30 Burge’s Mill Rd. Euharlee, Georgia 30145

If you fail to pay your fine or appear in court, a bench warrant may be issued for your arrest. An additional $50.00 Failure to Appear Fee will be added to your fine. In addition, your Driver's
License may be suspended by the Georgia Department of Driver’s Services

COURTROOM RULES...
There is a dress code in Municipal Court. No excessively short shorts, halter-tops, or hats of any kind are allowed. In addition, shirts and shoes are required. Casual or
business dress is suggested. YOU WILL BE SEARCHED UPON ENTERING THE COURTROOM. No weapons (including small pocket-knives) are allowed in the courtroom. Please
do not bring small children or babies to court with you. Follow all instructions given to you by the staff. Please follow these rules in order to make your court
experience as pleasant as possible.
